Automated Vertical and Horizontal Transportation are crucial components of a building, behind which Mitsulift and Equipment has invested its know-how and expertise to become a leader in the field.

- 1984: Mitsulift and Equipment was established as a company specialized in the supply, installation and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
- 1995: Mitsulift and Equipment became the market leader in lebanon
- 1997: Gained sole distributorship in Lebanon of AESA, a Spanish multinational in window cleaning systems.
- 1999: Became the first elevator company in Lebanon to be certified ISO 9001.
- 1999: Expanded into Cyprus Cylift and Equipment Ltd.
- 2000: Formed joint venture with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation – Japan
- 2000: Expanded into Greece – Mitsulift Hellas S.A
- 2000: Expanded into Syria – Mitsulift and Equipment Syria
- 2001: Appointed as sole distributor in Lebanon of Boon Edam, leader in entrance technologies.
- 2003: Sold the fastest elevator in Lebanon with a speed of 4m/s

Through our partnership with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, we introduced to our markets high class brands such as Nexway and Nexway-S AW series, Elenessa machine roomless, Ryoden dumbwaiter, Home Elevators and many more.
Besides the wide range of Mitsubishi Elevators that we supply, we have introduced “Mitsulift” Brand elevators in order to cover special requirements of the Lebanese market. Moreover, Mitsulift Elevator has proved to be a competing product with quality outstanding other European brands, based on its most excellent equipments imported from leading manufacturers in western Europe and our Mitsubishi expertise through our highly qualified engineers and technicians who are regularly trained overseas to provide you excellence in service.

In addition to the vertical transportation business, our innovative products have provided us with the reputation of Solution Providers for Building Maintenance Equipments (or Window Cleaning Systems), Entrance Revolving/Pedestrian doors and Garage Doors.

Mitsulift and Equipment S.A.L. was the first elevator company in Lebanon to be certified ISO 9001 in year 1999. And our ISO 9001: 2000 re-certification in year 2002 is a definite proof of the continuous improvement of our products and processes and our commitment to provide the customers with the best quality products and services.

Parent Company’s Involvement
During year 2000 Mitsubishi Electric Corporation invested 34% in the capital of Mitsulift and Equipment S.A.L. and became a main shareholder of the Company. As a consequence of this partnership, Mitsulift and Equipment S.A.L. became the Middle Eastern platform for Mitsubishi Electric Corporation.

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation – Japan, carries out the research and development of the product lines: elevators, escalators and moving walks. It also supervises the delivery logistics from all its factories inside and outside Japan.
