HYDRAULIC ELEVATOR EVACUATION PROCEDURE

1.  If the elevator gets trapped between two floors please follow the below instructions.
2.  Contact the passengers in the elevator through the car telephone and advise them that they are being attended      to.
3.  Switch off the elevator main disconnecting switch.
4.  Fix the hand winding wheel (yellow color) to the projecting end of the motor shaft.
5.  Press the brake releasing lever to open the brakes slowly and carefully.
6.  Depending upon the position of the lift and the load inside the lift, the cabin may tend to move either up or down      as soon as the brake is released.
7.  Raise or lower the elevator car according to the direction marked on the motor by the use of the flywheel and      bring the car to any landing floor level.
8.  After the elevator car is brought to the landing, remove the brake releasing lever and open the landing door      manually with the emergency key and release the passengers.
9.  After the rescue operation, remove the handle & the hand winding wheel.
10. If the problem wasn’t due to power failure do not switch on the circuit breaker. Contact the maintenance service       at the 04/542801.
