STEP 1 investigate car position
• Open the cover of the inspection window.
  Pictures a. & b.
• LED "420" lights up?
Yes   - If LED 'DZ" lights up go to STEP 4,
            if not go to STEP 2.
No     - Switch LIGHT (EMR/HIP) to ON
         - Check the mark of the GOV rope from the inspection window.
         - If you see the mark of the GOV rope Picture c. return light (EMR/HIP) to OFF and go to STEP 4,
           if not go to STEP 3.

STEP 2 electrical emergency drive operation
• LED "29" Lights up?
Yes   - Go next.
No     - Stop rescue procedure and call the maintenance company.
• LED "4IDG" lights up?
Yes   - Go next.
No     - Close car and landing doors by hand
         - Go next.
• Switch AUTO-HAND to HAND
• Switch LIGHT (EMR/HIP) to ON
• Push UP or DIN push buttons together with RUN.
- Inform the passengers before operating the car.
- Check LED "DZ" continuously.
- When LED "DZ" lights up, the car is in door zone.
- Succeeded to move the car to door zone "DZ"?
Yes   - Switch the LIGHT (EMR/HIP) to OFF
No     - Go to STEP 3.

STEP 3 emergency brake release operation
• Rotate MAIN SWITCH to OFF position.
• Make sure that car and landing door are closed.
• Switch LIGHT (EMR/HIP) to ON.
• Switch RSQ to ON.
• Push BKD button.
- Check the car movement.
- Inform the passengers before operating the car.
- Check movement and speed of the car by watching the GOV rope.
- Check door zone condition continuously by mark of GOV rope.
• When the mark of GOV rope can be seen, the car is in the door zone. Picture c.
• Succeeded to move the car into door zone?
Yes   - RSQ: OFF, LIGHT (EMR/HIP): OFF
          - Go to STEP 4.
No     - RSQ: OFF, LIGHT (EMR/HIP): OFF
         - End.

STEP 4 actual release of the passengers
• Turn the MAIN SWITCH to OFF position.
• Remove the key.
• Open the landing doors at car level by means of the emergency triangle key. Pictured.
• Rescue the trapped passengers.
  DO NOT LET PASSENGERS CLIMB OR JUMP OUT OF THE CAR IF THE CAR IS NOT AT THE SAME LEVEL AS   LANDING DOOR SILL.
• Close the car and landing doors.
