When entering escalators:

Watch the direction of the moving step.

Step on and off with extra care. Take care if you are wearing bifocals.

Hold children or small packages firmly in one hand.

Grasp the handrail as you step promptly onto the moving step.

Keep loose clothing clear of steps and sides.

 When riding escalator

Keep to the right and face forward.

Keep a firm grip on the handrail.

Reposition your hand slowly if the handrail moves ahead or behind the steps.

Do not rest your handbag or parcels on the handrail.

Do not window-shop while riding.

Keep calm.

Do not lean against the handrail.

 When exiting escalators:

Do not hesitate.

Step off promptly.

Immediately move clear of the escalator exit area - don't stop to talk or look around.
     Other passengers may be behind you.

General Rules:

Do not allow water to run into the hoistway during cleaning.

Do not use the escalator in case of earthquake, fire or water flood caused by heavy rain.

Do not put your fingers or any foreign object into the clearance or gaps of the glass panels.

Do not allow children to play on the escalator.
