What kind of comfort is required when passing through your revolving door ?
Our Tourniket is available in many specifications. Amongst other details, you will need to make a choice on the diameter, the number of doorwings and the drive.
Aspects to into consideration when choosing the type of the Revolving Door:
Will people be passing through carrying luggage (comfort in segment) ?
Would you like your door to be wheelchair accessible (space in segment) ?
Will speedcontrol be neccesary (protection against high speed of doorwings) ?
The comfortable 3-wing Tourniket
Characteristics:
1600mm-3800mm
Offers highest level of comfort in segments as compared to the 4-wing, but a smaller walk through opening
Diameters 1600mm–2400mm have a relatively narrow opening (4-wing advisable)
3-wing is recommended from a diameter of 2600mm; the opening easily allows two-way traffic and segments offer maximum comfort
The wide-entrance 4-wing TOURNIKET
Characteristics:
1600mm-3800mm
Offers largest walk through opening (90°) as
compared to the 3-wing, but has smaller segments
4-wing is recommended for diameters 1600mm–2400mm for more comfort during entry and exit
For optimal comfort we do suggest a door with a minimum diameter of 2200mm
From a diameter of 2600mm a 3-wing would be more advisable as this offers a higher level of comfort in the segments
